Hannibal Lang

Senior Colourist 

Hannibal Lang, originally from Copenhagen - Denmark,

is considered as one of the most

prominent and sought after Colourist. 

 

His passion for the artistic and technical elements

of grading, has led him to work closely with some of the most renowned directors and cinematographers in the world.

 

Hannibal’s distinguished list of collaborators includes acclaimed Directors Andreas Nilsson, Sam Brown, Martin De Thurah, Steve Rogers, Martin Werner and Bianca Poletti, as well as

Cinematographers Kasper Tuxen, Peter Deming, Charlotte Bruus, Alexis Zappe and Lasse-Frank. 

 

His commercial credits include award-winning spots for Uber Eats,

Nike, Apple, Velux, IKEA, Barclaycard, Adidas and AUDI.​ 

Some of his recent highlights include UBER EATS - ‘Dance’, directed by Andreas Nilsson and lensed by Peter Deming, for which Hannibal was shortlisted at the D&AD and won a Bronze Arrow at the British Arrows in 2023

 

Aside from his commercial work, Hannibal is also highly engaged in long-form work. 

Latest periodic drama, ‘The Promised Land’, directed by Nikolaj Arcel - shot by Rasmus Videbæk and starring Mads Mikkelsen, was selected for the main competition at the 2023 Venice International Film Festival and also shortlisted for the 2024 Oscars for best international feature film.

 

Other highlights includes the HBO Nordic produced TV series, ‘"Kamikaze" - and the critically acclaimed feature film, "UNRULY", directed by Malou Reymann, which was screened at TIFF as well as the Zentropa produced ‘Riders Of Justice’, directed by Anders Thomas Jensen and lensed by Kasper Tuxen.
